\nIn the 18th century<\/span>,<\/span> it was not<\/span> less than 300<\/span> manufacturers<\/span> who shared the<\/span> know<\/span>-how “<\/span>Orleans method<\/span>“<\/span>, this mode of<\/span> production<\/span> in barrels<\/span> which<\/span> gives Orleans<\/span><\/span> vinegar<\/span> its<\/span>
\nunique taste.<\/span>
\nToday, only<\/span> the house<\/span>–<\/span>Pouret<\/span> Martin<\/span>,<\/span> founded in 1797<\/span>, continues the tradition<\/span> of<\/span> old<\/span> vinegar<\/span>. It<\/span> also has “<\/span>reinvented<\/span>“<\/span> artisanal<\/span> Orl\u00e9ans mustard<\/span>, by<\/span> grinding<\/span> mustard seeds<\/span> on a<\/span> millstone.<\/span>
\nBut<\/span>, why<\/span> vinegar<\/span> in Orleans<\/span>?<\/span><\/p>\n
